Veterinarian - Radiologist

About the role

Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Radiologist to join their team. Founded over 80 years ago, Pieper Memorial is a leading emergency and specialty referral hospital in Connecticut, part of the veterinarian-led Pieper Veterinary network.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment including ultrasounds, CT, MRI, and C-Arm
• Interpret radiographic images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases and conditions
• Collaborate with other specialists in internal medicine, neurology, surgery, and emergency & critical care to provide comprehensive care
• Contribute to the educational mission of the practice through teaching and mentoring
• Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of veterinary radiology

Requirements

• Board Certification in Veterinary Radiology or equivalent residency training
• Experience with advanced imaging techniques and interpretation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to patient care
