About the role
BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Christiana, DE is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Veterinarian - Radiologist to join our team in our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. BluePearl Christiana is the only Emergency and Specialty facility in the state. We have been serving the state of Delaware and surrounding states for 19 years.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging services using a 16-slice CT scanner and other specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with a team of specialists and ER doctors to provide comprehensive care for pets.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education and training programs.
- Support the veterinary community by providing clinical training opportunities for veterinary nursing students.
Requirements
- Board certification or completion of a residency program in veterinary radiology.
- Experience with advanced diagnostic imaging techniques and interpretation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Delaware.
- Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
