About the role

This role is ideal for a neurologist who thrives in a high-caseload, a collaborative environment, enjoys medical and surgical neurology, and values teaching and mentorship—both formally and informally—within a busy ER/specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Join a deeply collaborative team with a strong referral base and a culture of open case discussion
  • Work closely with other specialists, emergency clinicians, and primary care doctors
  • Offer significant surgical and procedural volume with autonomy to practice high-level medicine while being supported by experienced teams

Teaching & Mentorship

  • Teaching and mentoring rotating interns, specialty interns, and residents
  • Informal case-based teaching on the floor and during rounds
  • The opportunity to help shape the next generation of veterinarians through daily clinical interaction

Requirements

  • Residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Neurologist

Qualifications

  • Experience in medical and surgical neurology
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities

Skills

  • Proven expertise in neurology
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to teach and mentor others
