Role Overview: As a Medical Lead Veterinarian, you will champion clinical excellence, mentor associate veterinarians, and drive continuous improvement in patient care and client service. This leadership position involves managing your DVM team through performance discussions, coaching, and fostering a collaborative culture. You will model high-quality medicine, maintain your own clinical productivity, and ensure hospital compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead and Mentor: Manage and develop associate veterinarians, promoting teamwork and retention.Medical Excellence: Set standards for quality medicine and client service while practicing as an associate veterinarian.Hospital Performance: Collaborate on operational planning, manage financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.Growth Culture: Lead medical meetings, supervise externships, and support recruitment efforts.Community Engagement: Represent the hospital through local outreach and educational activities. Qualifications & Skills Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with a valid license.At least 2 years of clinical experience.Servant leadership mindset with excellent communication skills.Interest in hospital management and growth.Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, Outlook).
