About the role

PetVet Animal Hospital in Honolulu is seeking a confident and compassionate DVM to join our growing ʻOhana. This role is best suited for veterinarians with prior urgent care, emergency, and emergency surgery experience who enjoy clinical variety and being part of a truly team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in Urgent Care, Emergency, and Emergency Surgery
  • Enjoy a diverse and engaging caseload
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
  • Work well in a collaborative, multi-doctor setting
  • Value autonomy with strong medical judgment

Requirements

  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Hawaii
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency, and emergency surgery
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care

Pay

Competitive salary + production (no negative accrual)

Schedule

4-day work week (40 hours), with one weekend day required
