Veterinarian - East Bend Animal Hospital

About the role

We are a small animal general practice and exotics specialist located in Bend, Oregon. We are seeking a veterinarian who shares our passion for Fear-Free care and exceptional medicine.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of a variety of small animal and exotic cases
• Performing spay/neuter, mass removals, eyelid surgery, foreign body surgeries, cystotomies, amputations, FHOs, and exotic pet surgeries
• Offering in-home euthanasia
• Providing chiropractic and veterinary orthopedic manipulation services
• Leading a 5-doctor team with engaging personalities, collaborative, kind, knowledgeable, and fun!

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Experience with exotic pets, including birds, reptiles, pocket pets, guinea pigs, rabbits, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, chickens, ferrets, and kangaroos
• Knowledgeable in Fear-Free practices
• Experience with advanced diagnostics, clear protocols, and supportive therapies
• Experience with surgery, including spay/neuter, mass removals, eyelid surgery, foreign body surgeries, cystotomies, amputations, FHOs, and exotic pet surgeries
• Experience with in-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiography, and cold laser
• Experience with alternative medicine (CBD, supplements, herbs, nutrition)
