About the Role

We are looking for a veterinarian that will make a great culture fit with our support staff and veterinarians. You will have the flexibility to individualize your work schedule for the perfect work-life balance you desire as well as ample opportunity for mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of species including dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets.
  • Perform routine and complex medical procedures under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for each patient.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an ACVIM accredited institution.
  • Current Oregon State Veterinarian license.
  • Experience in small animal medicine and surgery is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).

  • Strong interest in building a career in veterinary medicine.

  • Positive attitude and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

  • Proficiency in ultrasound, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, exotics, urgent care, etc.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
