Veterinarian - Critical Care

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking Critical Care Veterinarians to join their team in Sarasota, FL. The position offers the opportunity to practice the highest quality medicine, including access to advanced diagnostic tools and life-saving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to critically ill or injured pets
• Utilize cutting-edge diagnostic tools and perform life-saving procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree required
• Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency and critical care is preferred but not required
• Proven track record of success in emergency and critical care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and their owners
