Veterinarian - Cardiologist (Sign-on Bonus!)

Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is expanding, and they are seeking a residency-trained or board-certified veterinary cardiologist to join their hybrid ER/Specialty/Primary Care hospital in Middletown, CT. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team that has experience in growing veterinary specialty services.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team at a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced diagnostic tools including multiple ultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, 64-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, C-Arm with neurovascular platform, Maquet Servo-U ventilator with NAVA, and volumetric capnography. The hospital also benefits from an on-site Antech reference laboratory with a clinical pathologist.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients
- Collaborate with other specialists within the hospital
- Contribute to the growth and development of the hospital’s specialty services
- Support the hospital’s mission of providing quality veterinarian-led medicine
Requirements
- Residency-trained or board-certified in veterinary cardiology
- Experience in managing complex cardiac cases
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Connecticut
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Proven ability to diagnose and treat heart conditions
