BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Sarasota, FL is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinarian - Cardiologist to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for cardiology cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, internists, and technicians to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
• Contribute to the ongoing professional development of veterinary technicians and assistants.

Requirements

• Board certification or residency training in veterinary cardiology.
• Experience in emergency and/or specialty practice preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida.
• Knowledge of anesthesia, critical care, and emergency medicine principles.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ultrasound, EKG, and other diagnostic tools.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
