About the role
Hillside Veterinary Associates is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our respected small animal veterinary practice in Covington, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals
- Develop treatment plans and perform diagnostic evaluations
- Build trusted relationships with clients through education and communication
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and imaging technologies
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
- Support patient wellness and long-term health outcomes
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Louisiana
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for small animal medicine and client education
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Surgical experience is preferred, and an interest in ultrasound or dentistry is highly valued

The salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location.
