About the role

Hillside Veterinary Associates is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our respected small animal veterinary practice in Covington, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals
• Develop treatment plans and perform diagnostic evaluations
• Build trusted relationships with clients through education and communication
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
• Utilize advanced diagnostic and imaging technologies
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
• Support patient wellness and long-term health outcomes

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Louisiana
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for small animal medicine and client education
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
• Surgical experience is preferred, and an interest in ultrasound or dentistry is highly valued

Pay

The salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schedule
