About the role
Parkinson Veterinary Wellness Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team in Portland, Oregon. They welcome both new graduates and experienced veterinarians who are passionate about practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive and upbeat environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of veterinary services including medical, surgical, and preventive care
- Collaborate with a supportive, collaborative team environment
- Offer fear-free handling, client communication, and individualized patient care plans
- Opportunities to perform surgeries and procedures under full support
- Participate in NVA's structured mentorship program for ongoing learning and growth

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree, licensed (or eligible) in Oregon
- Passion for high-quality medicine and client communication
- A team-oriented, positive attitude with a good sense of humor
- Interest in mentorship and continuous learning (new grads encouraged)
- An interest in exotics is a plus, but not required
Qualifications
- Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and client education
