About the role

Massanutten Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinarian to join our team in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We are a wonderful hospital with long-time clients/patients, great local schools, and a friendly community. Most of our staff have been here for over 5 years and have lots to offer clinically. Our mission statement is to provide compassionate care with respect and honesty for both clients and patients. We are a busy, full-service veterinary hospital that has served our community for over 30 years in a welcoming rural community, operating out of a brand-new facility designed for high-quality patient care and team efficiency. Our practice is growing into a five-doctor team supported by experienced LVTs and veterinary assistants. We prioritize strong support staff, modern resources, and work-life balance so our doctors can focus on practicing excellent medicine. Open to New Grads with a strong Mentorship Program.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed

Pay

$100k to $135k base salary (varies based on qualifications/experience). No on-call or overnight shifts.

Lake Anna & Smith Mountain Lake is within 2 hours, Washington D.C. is approximately 3 hours away, and Virginia Beach is approximately 4 hours away. Agricultural area with various farmers' markets and access to rural settings. The downtown area hosts many local restaurants and shops. Great place to raise a family.
