About the role

We are looking for a full or part-time veterinarian to join our family-owned, small-animal practice in Summerville, South Carolina. Located 20 miles from Charleston, we focus on providing exceptional care with an ideal work schedule: no weekends, paid holidays off, and no emergency on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Diagnose and treat small animals.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments.
• Maintain proper medical records.
• Communicate effectively with clients and personnel to provide the best medical care.
• Stay up to date on the latest procedures and techniques in veterinary medicine through continuing education.

Requirements

• Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Possess a valid South Carolina DVM license, DEA controlled drug license, and SC DHEC controlled drug license.
