About the role

Chambersburg Animal Hospital is a full-service companion pet hospital providing comprehensive veterinarian medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Located conveniently off of Routes 81 and 30 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, we have been serving the community for over 70 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians for best practices and high quality care
• Mentorship available if needed
• Participate in continuing education
• Engage in community involvement

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed

Qualifications

• Experience in dentistry and surgery preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent surgical monitoring capabilities
• Knowledge of ultrasound and ultrasonic dental equipment
• Proficiency with digital X-ray and dental x-ray systems
• Experience with latest version of AVImark software
