About the role

Swan Creek Veterinary Clinic in Havre de Grace, MD is looking for a Veterinarian to join our practice. Founded in 2007, the clinic has seen significant growth and success, currently comprising two full-time and three part-time veterinarians. The team maintains a close-knit, family-like atmosphere while fostering a collaborative culture that values education and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides wellness care and medical and surgical management of routine cases
• Works closely with an experienced support team and technicians
• Participates in monthly staff meetings and team-building activities
• Engages in continuing education opportunities provided by vendor partners

Requirements

• Enjoyment of wellness care and medical and surgical management of routine cases
• Experience with in-house laboratory, digital dental radiography, laser therapy, ultrasound, oxygen cage, dentistry, and surgery
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
• Openness to mentorship programs for new graduates

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maryland
• Experience with closed on all major holidays
• Limited emergency responsibilities

Pay

Base salary: $115,000–$160,000

Production-based bonuses
