Jefferson Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Established in 1979, the hospital provides gold standard care for pets and regularly engages in improving its practices through bi-monthly meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures and dentistry
• Utilize in-house laboratory, radiographic equipment, ultrasound, laser therapy, electrocautery, and an in-house pharmacy
• Collaborate with the hospital team and manage time and tasks effectively
• Participate in continuing education and career growth opportunities

Requirements

• Licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in Louisiana
• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university
• Commitment to practicing high standards of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and courteous demeanor with staff and clients
