About the role

Eastside Pet Clinic, established in 1970, seeks a compassionate and skilled veterinarian to join our team on a Full or part-time basis. We recently completed a substantial renovation that will be finished in July 2025.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a diverse range of patients
• Participate in ongoing professional development through team training and online learning tools
• Collaborate with a supportive and knowledgeable staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Adapt to a flexible schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance
• Work closely with a local emergency clinic to avoid overnight and weekend shifts

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Idaho
• Experience with orthopedic procedures is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build a patient following

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dedicated to animal welfare
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Skills

• Proficiency with digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, and other diagnostic tools
• Experience with orthopedic procedures is beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
