About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our award-winning team at Peaks View Animal Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position is open to new graduates and offers a structured mentorship program.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of animal patients
• Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and other medical procedures
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Develop and implement treatment plans for individual patients
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
• Stay updated on the latest veterinary practices and technologies

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current Virginia license to practice veterinary medicine
• Experience in general veterinary practice is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care

• $100,000 - $130,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Pay

• $100,000 - $130,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
