About the role

Pawleys Veterinary Hospital, located on Pawleys Island, South Carolina, is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our team. The position offers a base salary plus a $10,000 relocation bonus, benefits package including health, dental, vision, ancillary coverage, and a 401K, attractive PTO, and a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good client relationships through effective communication regarding their pets' health and medical needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Present estimates to clients in advance of care, as appropriate.
• Participate in promoting the hospital's core values and culture as a member of the hospital's leadership team.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of South Carolina (or eligible for a temporary license pending a permanent license).
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, empathy, and compassion, along with outstanding collaboration with other members of the Pawleys Veterinary Hospital family.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-doctor practice setting.
• Knowledge of and experience with diagnostic tools and services including digital radiography, ultrasound, Idexx in-house analyzers, paperless records, and a full array of diagnostic tools and services.

Schedule
