About the role
Purpose: To pair recruited Veteran Volunteers with Hospice patients who have been identified as Veterans.
Responsibilities
- Relate and connect with Hospice patients who are Veterans
- Create an environment for life review and healing

- Driver’s License
- Background Check
- Attend Orientation
Qualifications
- Must be in or near Ypsilanti, MI
- Available Times: Weekdays (daytime, evenings), Weekends (daytime)
- Time Commitment: A few hours per month
- Commitment Details: 1 to 2 hours bi-weekly
- Volunteers Needed: 9
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to relate to Veterans
