About the role
Little Road Veterinary Clinic is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician or Experienced Vet Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Aid veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Collect patient histories and properly restrain pets
- Administer vaccines and support diagnostic testing
- Take radiographs and collect laboratory samples
- Fill prescriptions and discuss discharge instructions with clients
- Keep medical records accurate and enter charges
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment areas
- Provide excellent client service and patient care
Requirements
- Experience in veterinary technician roles (2+ years)
- Credentialing as a technician is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organized, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Available every Saturday
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (preferred)
