About the role

You'll take a vertical — an assigned industry like franchise operators, professional services, or healthcare — and run it like your own business inside ScaleSource. Generate and close your own contracts while building the sales system, define who to target and develop outreach strategies, not just execute them, build the prospect pipeline, CRM process, scripts, and reporting from scratch, use AI and automation to make the vertical faster and more consistent, add new team members to your pod as the vertical scales, own the pod's numbers — if they miss, that's on you, not them, run weekly scorecards and report on what's working and what isn't.

Responsibilities

  • Create a clear, repeatable sales process.
  • Close 6 new ScaleSource contracts in your first 90 days — personally.
  • Closely monitor and report on the pod's performance, ensuring all numbers are met.
  • Develop and implement sales systems, playbooks, and processes.
  • Build and manage a team to scale the vertical.
  • Use AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Oversee daily operations and provide regular feedback to the team.
  • Generate and close your own contracts while leading the team to achieve targets.

Requirements

  • Solid B2B sales experience, including hands-on outbound and inbound.
  • Experience managing or coaching a sales team — with real accountability, not just oversight.
  • Experience selling to US-based business owners or decision-makers is preferred.
  • Experience owning a team's number, not just your own quota.
  • Strong data instincts — you track things, you find patterns, you adjust.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
  • Overlap with U.S. business hours (Central Time preferred).

Plus

  • Experience with staffing, recruiting, outsourcing, BPO, virtual assistant, or remote talent sales.
  • Selling to SMBs, franchise brands, franchisees, clinics, home services companies, agencies, or multi-location operators.
  • Funnel building, landing pages, lead magnets, email sequences, or digital marketing.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lead411, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, Close, or similar tools.
  • Creating sales content, short videos, webinars, case studies, scripts, or prospect education material.
