Job Description

The Vertical Market Development Representative is responsible for selling our services by actively seeking out and engaging prospective clients. The Vertical Market Development Representative will deliver and book a qualified number of meetings weekly/monthly and prospect high quality leads to a targeted ideal customer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learns and maintains knowledge of products, pricing, company contacts, and sales guidelines.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains positive business and prospect relationships.
  • Sources sales opportunities through lead generation, outbound calls, emails, etc.
  • Follows up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process.
  • Communicates with customers, makes outbound calls to potential customers, and follows up on leads.
  • Schedules appointments with key decision makers.
  • Presents information about Company products to potential clients.
  • Completes and updates accurate information related to business profiles.
  • Prompts prospects through top of funnel activities (lead generating).
  • Attends weekly Sales Team Meetings and meets with supervisor regularly.
  • Professionally services clients/prospective clients and collaborates with other representatives and departments.
  • Stays up-to-date on industry changes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs
  • Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable
  • Results-driven and competitive
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; strong phone presence
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Compensation

$50-$55k + commission
