About the Role

As a Verifications Specialist at InformData, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of the information provided by candidates on employment and leasing applications. You will validate candidate details by contacting academic institutions, professional references, military organizations, and employers. Your work directly contributes to the integrity of the data we provide to our clients, helping to build trust and uphold a high standard of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to academic institutions, employers, military institutions, and professional references to verify candidate information.
  • Maintain professionalism on calls and in all internal and external communications.
  • Maintain and improve quality of results by adhering to standards and guidelines.
  • Handle escalated cases with academic institutions and employers to verify candidate information.

Qualifications

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional active listening skills with ability to capture what is being stated accurately.
  • Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.
  • Persistency, ability to probe effectively.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately document information.
  • Excellent judgement with ability to report accurate content.
  • Ability to problem solve complex issues and use analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organization.
  • Ability to multitask and follow assignments to completion with high attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and team oriented.
  • Ability to type 40 WPM or more.
  • Solid accuracy of grammar and spelling.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data collection and computer applications.
  • Previous data entry experience.

Working Conditions

  • This position requires working indoors at a desk for extended periods of time and use of a workstation.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Requires the ability to interact with all levels within the organization and respond professionally to all individuals.
  • Must work well as a team player.
  • May be requested to work overtime on occasion to meet company objectives.
