Verification Technician
About the role
The Verification Technician at K+S Services, a SunSource company, plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of customer products by performing verifications and calibrations according to ISO 17025 standards. This position requires familiarity with ISO 17025 work instructions and forms related to calibrations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily routes and schedules plant wide
- Work closely with customers to provide support
- Maintain company and customer requirements
- Perform verifications and calibration according to ISO 17025 standards
- Maintain a daily schedule for upcoming verifications and calibrations of customer's equipment
- Update Quality system (QME) to maintain verification/calibration requirements
- Collaborate with plant personnel and manage processes to meet company metrics
Qualifications
- 2-year college degree with technical experience preferred
- Previous experience preferred, related to torque calibrations and ISO procedures
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Effective communication skills (oral/written) with the ability to multitask
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time with no lifting restrictions
