About the role

The Magnolia is seeking an Usher/Greeter/Ticket Taker to assist with ensuring safety, maintaining venue cleanliness, and engaging with guests to address their needs before, during, and after events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, scan tickets, answer questions, assist with seating, and examine tickets for entry.
• Maintain venue safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Resolve guest complaints or issues.
• Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
• Assist guests with special needs, such as seat accommodations.
• Show CARE by participating in recycling efforts.
• Guide guests to exits or provide instructions in emergencies.
• Participate in sustainability programs.
• Close the venue after the show, including collecting recyclables and storing equipment.
• Provide directions and assistance to guests.
• Additionally, assist with additional tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Constant walking, climbing stairs, and occasional sitting, lifting, and carrying 25 lbs+.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Pay

The expected compensation for this position is $16.90 USD - $20.00 USD per hour, based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
