About the role

The Venue Sustainability Crew Member plays a crucial role in Live Nation's sustainability initiatives, specifically focusing on reducing waste and promoting circularity at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. This position is part-time and seasonal, working primarily during show days from April to October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Zero Waste Coordinator on-boarding training.
• Aid in the mid- and post-show waste sorting process, including recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
• Be available to work show days and non-show days to ensure all waste is sorted and diverted.
• Relay observations to guide areas of improvement and overall program development.
• Contribute ideas to improve material circularity based on waste stream observations.
• Aid the Venue Sustainability Manager with educational support to all crew members and fans.
• Maintain a clean sorting area and support post-show cleanup.
• Support compliance with local environmental policies and mandates.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests to ensure memorable experiences.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Show days involve about 90% walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs., with 75% of that time spent sorting materials.
• Not afraid to get dirty or be around unpleasant odors.
• Strong time management skills to show up on time and work late hours.
• Dedication to participating in something that will have a real and immediate impact on the environment.
• Ability to work well with other departments.
• A positive attitude and creative thinking/problem-solving skills.
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Experience in events or zero waste events is a plus.
• Customer service-friendly attitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and make independent decisions.
• Availability on event dates, primarily evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work during all weather conditions due to the outdoor venue.
• Constant walking or standing for long periods of time.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $15.40 USD - $17.00 USD, based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
