About the role

The Merchandise Supervisor (part-time) position at Live Nation Concerts is responsible for overseeing a team of merchandise specialists to ensure exceptional merchandise purchasing experiences for all guests and fans in Live Nation venues. This role serves as a liaison between Artist/Tour Representatives, Venue Management, and Merchandise Specialists, ensuring successful sales operations and maintaining high standards of merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Merchandise Specialist schedule based on event projections
  • Oversee inventory count-in and count-out procedures
  • Support successful sales operations at each event by training, mentoring, and motivating Merchandise Specialists team
  • Ensure merchandise stands remain clean and presentable, meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Perform physical duties as required, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise between locations
  • Complete all required reports in a timely manner, including pre-show, post-show, and payroll reports
  • Communicate with Venue Management and Merchandise Management team
  • Ensure team compliance with Live Nation policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Refined communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Guest-centric, able to respond to requests and concerns professionally
  • Team-driven, possesses advanced leadership abilities to train and mentor in a positive manner
  • Basic business proficiency with an understanding of forecasting and timely reporting
  • Experience in event merchandising positions desirable
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality roles

Requirements

  • Able to be available for the entire concert day, with shifts as long as 15 hours (with breaks)
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to a 50-pound box
  • Able to work in outdoor environments in potentially extreme temperatures
  • Working knowledge of touch-screen based systems
  • Legal working age in the state

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $17.60 USD - $22.00 USD per hour. Pay is based on a variety of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience. For more details, see the Job Description.
