Responsibilities

  • Responsible for management of all Venue Ops and guest-facing departments, including Signage & Wayfinding, Guest Services, and Accessibility, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience across all Las Vegas Grand Prix venues.
  • Coincides closely with multiple departments to ensure overall logistics are aligned on deliverables and that all guest services functions integrate smoothly with broader event operations.
  • Works with the director of Event Operations Director to develop and manage budgets for all responsible departments throughout the event cycle; maintains monthly budget tracking for finance and forecasting.
  • Accountable for RFP requests and for contracting with vendors and services as needed across all responsible guest-facing departments.
  • Works with various teams to develop and implement detailed operational plans for signage and wayfinding, guest services, ticket taking, accessibility, and overall venue guest flow and experience.
  • Creates and implements policies and procedures for all responsible departments, ensuring consistent standards of guest service and accessibility compliance are upheld across all event venues.
  • Creates and manages department workback timelines to align with overall Event Operations milestones; establishes clear objectives and ensures all guest services projects and goals are met within defined timeframes.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement and implements innovative solutions to enhance the guest experience and streamline venue services operations.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Event Operations, to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient execution of all guest-facing event services.
  • Conducts post-event debriefs and recaps to analyze guest experience outcomes, incorporate attendee and staff feedback, and drive continuous improvement across all venue services functions.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of large event/festival industry administrative experience.
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and has exceptional follow through skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and pivot to address new situations and concerns positively and proactively.
  • Solid computer/database and clerical skills, Proficient in MS Office products, working knowledge of SmartSheet.
  • Able to track, manage and meet budget requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to others.
  • Proactively seek solutions to problems. Be enthusiastic and energetic in your approach to your job. Commit to putting in extra effort with a positive attitude.
  • Be flexible in handling change, able to juggle multiple demands, and adaptable to new situations with fresh ideas or innovative approaches.
