About the role

The Magnolia is seeking Security & Safety Team Members to guard, patrol, and monitor venue premises to ensure the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets. This role involves conducting patrols, responding to security and safety-related calls, and performing various duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Operate metal detector equipment as needed.
• Ensure the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets.
• Respond to all security and safety-related calls in a timely manner.
• Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty.
• Comply with and adhere to all department’s performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without losing efficiency or composure.
• Represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Work under pressure without losing composure.
• Memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
• Interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during intense circumstances.
• Walk, stand, lift at least 50 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp, and drag.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid CA Guard card or security license.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes.
• Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Ability to perform in crises and work under pressure without losing composure.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during intensely aggravated circumstances.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift at least 50 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp and drag.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age to apply.

Benefits

Live Nation Entertainment offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting hourly pay rate of $21.00 USD, with the potential to earn up to $16.90 USD - $21.00 USD depending on qualifications and experience.
