Venture Fund Paralegal

Job Description

Gunderson Dettmer has an opening for a Venture Fund Paralegal. The Venture Fund Paralegal will perform duties supporting venture capital fund formation and the ongoing operation of funds.

• Maintaining fund formation checklists
• Reviewing and responding to investor subscriptions
• Organizing general partner, main fund, side fund and management company entities
• Distributing closing documents to investors
• Making federal and state securities law filings
• Preparing closing volumes
• Aiding with transfers of interests in venture capital funds
• Preparing transfer agreements
• Reviewing the eligibility of new investors

Job Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Good judgment, initiative and flexibility
• At least one year of prior experience in the fund formation practice area
• Open to junior or senior level experience

Education Requirements

• BS/BA Degree

9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Status

Full Time, Non-Exempt

Pay

The annualized base salary range for this position is expected to be $75,000.00-$180,000.00.
