Venture Fund Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Maintain fund formation checklists
• Review and respond to investor subscriptions
• Organize general partner, main fund, side fund and management company entities
• Distribute closing documents to investors
• Make federal and state securities law filings
• Prepare closing volumes
• Aid in transfers of interests in venture capital funds
• Prepare transfer agreements
• Review the eligibility of new investors

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Good judgment, initiative and flexibility
• At least one year of prior experience in the fund formation practice area

• BS/BA Degree

• The annualized base salary range for this position is expected to be $75,000.00-$180,000.00
• This position is full time, non-exempt
• Location: Los Angeles - Hybrid
