Venture Capital Principal/ Platform Lead

Portfolio Support, Talent & Network Management

• Partner with founders and their teams on initiatives across marketing and PR, business development, hiring, and fundraising.
• Research, engage, and maintain relationships with operators, advisors, agencies, and experts who can support portfolio companies and emerging founders.
• Support portfolio company talent priorities including executive searches, candidate mapping, and recruiter and agency coordination.
• Identify and facilitate meaningful connections between portfolio companies and relevant contacts across the firm's network.
• Build systems and processes that organize, capture, and leverage network intelligence across the firm.
• Track, document, and communicate the firm's impact across the portfolio, and continuously improve how that value is measured and articulated.
• Assist the investment team with thematic research and sourcing within the consumer ecosystem.
• Support the planning and execution of firm events and community experiences, working closely with the Events team.

Firm Operations & Investment Support

• Translate insights, relationships, and founder stories into thoughtful internal and external communications.

Community Engagement & Communications

• Lead the firm's brand, communications, and external presence, including evaluating conferences, speaking opportunities, partnerships, and press opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant post-undergraduate experience in platform or investing roles at a venture capital or growth equity firm, or in strategy, business operations, or growth at a startup.
• Deep interest in the consumer investing ecosystem and strong instincts for what makes a compelling consumer business.
• Proven relationship-builder who is energized by connecting people and creating value for others.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A trend-tracker and idea generator who connects insights back to the firm's work.
• Team player with a no-task-is-too-small mindset and genuine enthusiasm for founders and consumer brands.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Notion; enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools.
