Vendor Relations Advisor

About the role

The Vendor Relations Advisor works with both the QC and QA departments, reviewing and approving all vendor compliance identified at the distribution center and entered into the compliance program. This individual also reviews accuracy errors identified through the internal audit program with DC Operations and interacts with various corporate departments to follow up on vendor issues and support corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide system training to internal teams and building staff
• Review Compliance entries to ensure data accuracy and required documentation is attached
• Provide feedback to DC Operations on entry discrepancies
• Maintain vendor status and purchase order flags in the system for the Vendor Certification program
• Support QA processing area related to exceptions to Floor Ready standards
• Prepare and process reporting for Vendor Certification charges
• Upload files and resolve any upload errors
• Correspond with Corporate Vendor Relations and Merchants on retail pricing and UPC discrepancies
• Escalate critical issues to DC and Corporate teams
• Report and maintain weekly DC accuracy reports as needed
• Investigate accuracy issues to provide details to the Operations Team
• Participate in operations meetings to provide Vendor Relations information
• Assist with education and training programs

Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• 1-3 years of experience
• Critical thinking ability and reading comprehension skills
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Working knowledge of supply chain systems (PKMS, EDI, PMMS/JDA, TMS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures
• Must be able to travel

Schedule

1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
