Job Responsibilities

  • Manages and optimizes relationships with key vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Maintains vendor performance and enforces contract terms to ensure compliance and analyzes vendor costs to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to implement strategic planning and best practices in vendor and supplier relationship management and risk management
  • Prepares and presents reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to leadership
  • Acts as a liaison between internal teams—such as Credit Strategy, Fraud Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Legal—and external partners to ensure seamless solution integration and timely delivery of capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field plus 3 years of related work experience
  • Master's/Advanced Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years - Implementing strategic planning and best practices in procurement and risk management
  • 4-7 years - Managing and optimizing relationships with vendors in a corporate setting
  • 4-7 years - Analyzing vendor costs and managing budgets to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements

  • Vendor Management - Expertise in managing and optimizing relationships with vendors to ensure efficient procurement and compliance with contract terms
  • Strategic Planning - Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals and optimize vendor relationships
  • Negotiation - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and manage costs effectively in vendor contracts
  • Analytics - Proficiency in analyzing vendor performance metrics and cost data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Risk Management - Capability to assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and procurement processes
  • Reporting & Analysis - Ability to prepare detailed reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and other key metrics for leadership review
  • Microsoft Excel - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling related to vendor management
  • Communication - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Problem Solving - Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve issues that arise in vendor management and procurement processes
  • Leadership - Leadership skills to guide and influence internal teams and manage relationships with strategic vendors
