About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Vendor Management Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team based in our Plymouth, MN office. This position is part of the Procurement / Vendor management team with primary responsibilities focused contract management from RFX to contract execution and award.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement requisition requests from RFP to contract award
- Has knowledge and experience in contract structure, i.e. MSAs, SOWs, exhibits and addendums
- Negotiates favorable terms and conditions on vendor contracts by performing a detailed review
- Engages with various company internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute contracts and misc agreements
- Obtains required approvals and executes in accordance with the department policies and procedures
- Works in various procurement tools and systems to store and maintain procurement data
- Performs vendor sourcing, price analysis, and market research
- Reports and tracks procurement metrics from various systems
- Pulls reports from various systems and creates dashboard reporting
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of accounts payable and invoicing principals
- Coordinates Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) intake requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of procurement experience; prior experience drafting and awarding contracts relating to vendor management
- Knowledge and basic understanding of contract management repository platforms and financial accounting systems
- Has the ability to work happily in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines
Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $72,000 – $84,000, based on location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential.
