Responsibilities

  • Aid in addressing inquiries from bankruptcy vendors regarding servicing.
  • Review and approve invoices from bankruptcy vendors for payment, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
  • Contact bankruptcy vendors to discuss contracted service levels and performance metrics.
  • Maintain departmental and company compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Retrieve and provide requested account documents to bankruptcy vendors as needed.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures related to bankruptcy matters.
  • Support and guide on bankruptcy litigation matters involving adversaries, MFRs, and plan objections.
  • Promote confidentiality of company operations, customer information, and confidential data.
  • Operate various software programs and navigate through different windows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word; data entry experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in bankruptcy servicing or similar field; vendor management experience is preferred.
  • An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field can substitute for the required experience.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 75% of the time.
  • Occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequent communication with internal and external customers.
