Responsibilities
- Aid in addressing inquiries from bankruptcy vendors regarding servicing.
- Review and approve invoices from bankruptcy vendors for payment, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
- Contact bankruptcy vendors to discuss contracted service levels and performance metrics.
- Maintain departmental and company compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Retrieve and provide requested account documents to bankruptcy vendors as needed.
- Create and implement policies and procedures related to bankruptcy matters.
- Support and guide on bankruptcy litigation matters involving adversaries, MFRs, and plan objections.
- Promote confidentiality of company operations, customer information, and confidential data.
- Operate various software programs and navigate through different windows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word; data entry experience is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in bankruptcy servicing or similar field; vendor management experience is preferred.
- An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field can substitute for the required experience.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 75% of the time.
- Occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Frequent communication with internal and external customers.
