Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Regularly scan and assess on-hand inventory quantities at customer sites using mobile inventory management tools. Generate replenishment orders based on customer usage patterns, maintaining optimal stock levels to avoid overstock or shortages. Conduct periodic inventory counts to verify accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in stock records. Organize and refill inventory in vending machines or designated storage areas, ensuring items are accessible and properly labeled.
- Order Fulfillment and Delivery: Prepare, pack, and deliver orders to customer locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Operate vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks up to 22 feet, to transport goods to customer sites. Create detailed manifests for each delivery, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented. Handle both scheduled and ad-hoc deliveries, responding flexibly to urgent customer needs.
- Customer Interaction: Act as a direct point of contact at customer locations, providing updates on inventory and addressing questions or concerns. Gather and relay customer feedback or new requirements to internal teams for action. Build and nurture positive relationships with customers by demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- Operational Support: Utilize mobile technology, such as inventory scanners or tablets, to log inventory data and process orders efficiently. Adhere to safety standards and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies during deliveries and site visits. Support warehouse operations when needed, such as picking and staging inventory for future deliveries.
- Vehicle and Equipment Management: Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational. Perform basic troubleshooting or coordinate maintenance for inventory scanning equipment and tools.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to align customer expectations and inventory trends. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for operational enhancement.
- Problem Solving and Adaptability: Quickly resolve issues such as missing items, inaccurate counts, or changes in customer needs. Adapt to changing schedules or unexpected challenges, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to read and interpret invoices and packing slips.
- Must possess a current, valid Driver's License.
- Maintain a violation-free driving record.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in inventory management and order fulfillment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of basic computer software, including Microsoft Office.
Skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation.

Pay
This is a non-exempt position and pays between $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.

Work hours: 5:00am – 1:30pm
