Amazon is looking for a customer obsessed, analytical, and innovative individual to join Worldwide Grocery Stores as a Vendor/Category Manager to lead multiple facets of an omni-channel retail business.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the P&L for multiple large vendors with a focus on growing categories and customer baskets, as well as improving vendor profitability.
• Develop strategic relationships and joint business plans with suppliers to ensure early insight into new trends and products, early and exclusive access to new items, merchandising and promotions investment and competitive costs.
• Drive winning negotiations and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor senior leadership.
• Lead a cross-functional team, including Marketing, Instock, Merchandising, and Amazon Advertising, to drive superior vendor results.
• Continuously audit to improve the customer experience and business performance.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of with Excel experience
• 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
• Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

• USA, NY, New York - 80,600.00 - 141,100.00 USD annually
• USA, VA, Arlington - 73,300.00 - 128,300.00 USD annually
• USA, WA, Seattle - 82,700.00 - 128,300.00 USD annually
