About the role

McKee Foods is seeking a Vehicle Utility Service to join our Fleet Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for washing tractors and trailers, fueling tractors and other vehicles, and performing general internal cleaning of tractors and other vehicles including vacuuming carpets, wiping interior areas, and cleaning windshield and windows. Your expertise will help ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet, keeping our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Fuel tractors and/or company vehicles.
• Wash tractors/trailers using wash facility and equipment provided.
• Perform general interior & exterior cleaning of tractors, trailers, and other company vehicles, including vacuuming carpets, wiping interior areas, and cleaning windshields and windows.
• Maneuver tractors/trailers on McKee Foods property, including parking of trailers.
• Service fluids in company vehicles.
• Perform conveyor maintenance.
• Generate work orders in the maintenance computer system and stock issue parts.
• Demonstrate workplace behavior consistent with company policies and values.
• Communicate job information to accomplish work tasks.
• Maintain good attendance as defined by company and/or department policy.
• Practice good personal hygiene and maintain a clean work area.
• Exercise personal safety on the job and demonstrate a commitment to the safety of others and our products.

Pay

$20.18 – $21.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift hours.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 3:50 pm, Friday 7:00 am – 1:20 pm.
