Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces (cleaning, sanding, priming) maintaining high quality standards
- Applying paints, coatings, and finishes using professional spray equipment
- Stripping various vehicle components in preparation for painting (experience advantageous but not essential)
- Following all health & safety procedures and promoting a positive health & safety culture
- Working collaboratively to meet deadlines and production targets
- Mentoring apprentices, sharing knowledge and supporting their development within the workshop team
Qualifications/Skills required
- Proven experience in commercial, automotive, or industrial spray painting
- Confident using spray guns and associated equipment
- Excellent eye for detail and commitment to high standards
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Good understanding of workshop health & safety
- Relevant qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
