Responsibilities

  • Host huddles to communicate vehicle priorities and daily goals for employees
  • Ensure the location is set up for success and the employees have all necessary supplies and cleaning products
  • Support with lot set-up to ensure efficient flow of vehicles throughout the day
  • Observe VSA operations, ensuring that all VSAs are complying with standard procedures and quality of work via random car audits
  • Maintain a clean and organized Conveyor Belt role to enhance operations
  • Monitor radio for any additional requests for support from Vehicle Ops staff
  • Check daily productivity levels of each employee and highlight strong performance and provide live coaching to poor performers
  • Maintain a clean and organized lot, storage, and supplies as needed
  • Host training for newly introduced standards of work in coordination with Vehicle Ops Managers / GMs and support with onboarding

Qualifications

  • Must be 20 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 4+ years in an operations role, preferably with increased responsibility
  • Working knowledge of operational / maintenance logistics or transportation
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to delegate effectively
  • Strong time management skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, ability to quickly change direction and focus
  • Self-starter with ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work in inclement weather outdoors
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Computer literate with strong keyboarding skills
  • Ability to manage, develop and motivate staff; to include process improvement
