Vehicle Operations Specialist - Bilingual Spanish

What You Will Do

• Develop a thorough understanding of the company's autonomous driving technology and operating procedures.
• Safely operate autonomous test vehicles for up to 8 hours per day while evaluating system performance.
• Stay current with evolving testing procedures, priorities, and operational updates.
• Exercise sound judgment and prioritize safety in all driving and operational activities.
• Document detailed observations and provide actionable feedback to engineers and managers.
• Serve as a professional representative of the company when interacting with members of the public.
• Support general operational activities, including vehicle washing, garage organization, transporting coworkers for business purposes, and other operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Safety Operator or Safety Officer
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
• A valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel internationally more than 25% of the time, including travel to the Middle East and Europe to train new safety drivers

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to succeed in a collaborative team environment
• Passion for vehicles and/or experience with vehicle maintenance
• Strong understanding of vehicle technology
• Proficiency in additional languages

Commitment

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the San Jose, CA area.
