Vehicle Operations Specialist

About the role

The Vehicle Operations Specialist manages all onsite vehicles including sales inventory, used vehicles, lease returns, and internal fleet. This role ensures inventory vehicles are in ready-to-sell condition, maintains inventory, and supports the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the location's physical vehicle inventory
• Conduct lot walks and physical inventory to ensure accuracy
• Partner with internal allocations team to inform of inventory needs
• Ensure inventory is well-maintained and appealing
• Manage lease return, trade-in, and fleet vehicles on-site
• Coordinate logistics for vehicle movements between Lucid facilities and third-party locations
• Monitor inbound shipments of vehicles from manufacturing or third-party facilities
• Perform and verify vehicle intake inspections
• Liaise with the Service team for required repairs
• Partner with sales teams on vehicle readiness status
• Assist with new vehicle deliveries during high volume periods and daily operations as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in operations or support role
• Passion for a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Detail-oriented and focused on providing great experiences by improving efficiencies
• Self-starter and quick thinker with high attention to detail who thrives in ambiguous and rapidly changing situations
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to relentlessly prioritize
• Willingness to be hands-on with all vehicle operations
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year
• Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred

• Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM
• Prior experience in the automotive sector
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in business, marketing or related discipline
