Responsibilities
- Thorough inspections and quality repairs and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable vehicles.
- Maintain all vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and passenger comfort.
- Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on all assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Perform all maintenance duties in a safe and efficient cost-effective manner.
- Maintain technical competency on assigned equipment and vehicles.
- Engage in ongoing training and development programs offered by the company.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent required.
- Prior experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Maintenance Technician and/or prior experience with heavy fleet vehicles preferred.
- Possess or willing to obtain all applicable ASE certifications.
- Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement if operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 passengers or more.
- Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) required.
- Necessary hand tools to perform maintenance duties.
- Availability to work special shifts as needed.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Salary Range
$31.00 - $42.00 per hour
