VEHICLE MAINT SHOP SUPERVISOR Honolulu, HI
Position Overview
Serves as the primary liaison between contractor mechanics and Government fleet managers to maintain maintenance workflow, operational efficiency, and equipment readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate access to CESE/MHE, shop workflow, maintenance schedules, and use of Government-furnished equipment
- Manage labor flow, parts status, Fleet Focus documentation, and shop issue resolution
- Support safe, timely maintenance execution and maintain equipment readiness
- Communicate with Government stakeholders on priorities, delays, and repair status
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of shop supervisor experience in OEM dealership, commercial maintenance, or military maintenance environment
- Proficiency with Asset Works Fleet Focus
- Knowledge of safety, hazardous materials handling, and installation access requirements
- Valid driver’s license, U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain installation access, and Secret clearance where required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting NSW, SOF, NAVFAC, or DoD fleet maintenance missions
- Supervising dispersed teams
- Active Secret clearance
Work Environment / Additional Conditions
- Work is performed at government-owned facilities supporting Naval Special Warfare equipment readiness
- Travel may be required based on mission needs
- Personnel must meet installation access requirements, comply with safety and hazmat procedures, and maintain professional conduct
- This location supports OCONUS or Hawaii-based operations
