Vehicle Diagnostics Technician

About the role

DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time Vehicle Diagnostics Technician for our New Britain, CT dealership. In this role, you will focus strictly on troubleshooting and triaging electrical and drivetrain issues for buses, trucks, and automobiles—allowing other technicians to handle the physical repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five years’ experience in the field of automotive, truck and/or bus repair
• Skills to sufficiently diagnose trucks, buses, and general on-highway vehicles
• Cummins certification is preferred
• Computer skills
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
• Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks
