Vegetation Control Technician

About the role

This role involves managing vegetation control for our commercial clients, ensuring landscapes are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Certified in Core and Category E to perform weed spraying duties effectively and safely
• Walk for long periods of time
• Able to carry a backpack sprayer weighing up to 50 pounds
• The capacity to work independently or with a lawn care crew
• The ability to identify common weeds of Minnesota
• The ability to operate and care for assigned equipment
• Skill in reading map directions from a mobile device or hard copy
• The desire to work daily at the highest level of professionalism, quality, and performance
• The desire to work with a team to accomplish goals
• The ability to bend, squat, and lift for long periods of time
• Able to work outdoors in a wide variety of conditions for an extended period of time

Requirements

• The ability to read pesticide labels and accurately measure pesticides according to label rate
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
