VDC BIM Designer, DC Design Engineering

Responsibilities
- Coordinate consolidated Templates insource and trades models of our Data Centers, and utilize Revit and Navisworks to maintain our standards.
- Work independently and within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks, including working with internal groups as well as external suppliers and consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
- Update and modify existing models, studies, and construction documents as required.
- Assist with creating, maintaining, and enforcing BIM templates and standards.
- Audit project deliverables and monitor quality.
- Lead design coordination meetings with other trades for clash detection and resolution.
- Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
- Assist the project team with information exchange processes between internal and external customers.
- Provide coordination support for information requests during construction phases.
- Record and report key metrics to management.
- Travel to Data Center sites for engineering evaluations and surveys as required.
- On average: once or twice a year.
- Be self-motivated and work within the BIM Design group as well as within other teams.
- Be positive and always offer creative, out-of-the-box solutions.

Requirements
You must be able to work independently and within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks. You must have experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers. You must have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, and 2+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination, 3+ years of producing construction drawings for mission critical facilities. You must also have experience with Navisworks.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
- Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing.
Skills
Knowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systems.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
USA, TX, Austin - $96,600.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Herndon - $96,600.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle - $96,600.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
